expectationsI want to take a second to map out where this blog will be headed over the next few weeks. I am going to attempt to follow a weekly schedule or sorts to guide the content of this blog. Here is the proposed schedule:

Monday – This will be the day that content will focus upon encouraging ministers and fellow Christians in their weekly devotion to Christ.

Tuesday – This will be the day that content will be centered on resource evaluations. Sometimes resources will be recommended, while at other times, resources will be denounced. These resources will vary week to week. If you would like for me to evaluate a particular resource, please let me know.

Wednesday – This will be the day that content encourages worldview formation. Whether it is an evaluation of a present-day event or consideration of a worldview system, the express purpose will be to encourage faithful, biblically thinking about the world in which we live and interact.

Thursday – This will be the day that content resolves around biblical studies and/or theology. As a Biblical Studies major who is also pursuing a minor in Theology, a vast majority of this content will come directly from my PhD coursework.

Friday – This will be the day that a weekly podcast will be released with a focus on church renewal and revitalization. For the most part, this content will major on the fundamentals of church revitalization that are rooted in the unchangeable nature of God’s Word. At times, commentary and critique will be offered on modern approaches to church growth.

Saturdays and Sundays will mostly consist of miscellaneous matters that either did not fit in a particular category from the previous days or that couldn’t wait until the next week due to their importance.

At any given time, I may be provoked to write on an issue that does not fit in any one category, so don’t take this schedule as unchangeable rule of practice. For instance, I am preparing an opinion paper that addresses the church planting practices of my own state convention, the national convention as a whole, ethnic diversity in the local church, and baptist church polity, which should be published at least a month before the annual meeting in June. The broad scope of such a paper transcends all the abovementioned categories, but it will be the focus of the blog for at least a week or more. So stay tuned!

Thank you for reading and please share with others!
