Welcome to the online headquarters of Hope for Life, the Teaching Ministry of Casey B. Hough. Casey serves as the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Camden. He holds a B.G.S. in Computer Applications from Louisiana Tech University, an M.Div. in Biblical Languages and a Th.M. in Biblical Interpretation from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS). Presently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Biblical Interpretation from NOBTS with minors in theology and in ethics.

In addition to his weekly ministry work, Casey is passionate about writing and teaching the church at large. He writes a monthly church history column for a regional newspaper, frequently provides book reviews to various publications, and regularly contributes research essays and articles to several evangelical outlets. Currently, he is writing his first book for Rainer Publishing on Paul’s pastoral priorities from 1 and 2 Timothy. Casey and his wife, Hannah, have three sons and two daughters.

Casey’s research interest consists of biblical hermeneutics, critical methods of interpretation, biblical and contemporary Christian ethics, and Pauline theology and ethics. If you are planning on booking Casey for a speaking engagement at your church, please email him at Given Casey’s primary commitment to ministry at First Baptist Church of Camden, outside ministry events are contingent upon his availability.
