Justice and “Jane Doe”

The case of “Jane Doe” deals with an undocumented immigrant who sought an abortion while being held in a detention center in Texas. She was denied the procedure due to her immigrant status, which both Federal and State officials concluded exempted her from a right to an elective abortion.
